He was a good kid. He was my baby brothers best friend. We were supposed to see him next week in person. Definitely had his head on straight and he was an adventurous kid. I wish there was a way for it to feel easier on everyone but it was inevitable. Death, itself, is inevitable. I wish for the family that the pain they are going through is covered by his presence. He’s always with you. RIP Jay.

I’m sorry I never got to meet Joseph. I did feel like I knew him. Staci Garcia my daughter would always talk about Joseph. She would say what a wonderful person he was. He was a hard worker and loved his job. She always could count on him. I’m so sorry for your loss. I pray the Lord will give you all the strength you need to get through this tragedy. God bless.

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about Joseph’s tragic passing. Our son’s went to the same school and are close in age and interests. My heart absolutely aches for his family, friends and girlfriend. I pray that in the midst of this horrific time that they’ll be able to find comfort in the wonderful memories shared throughout his life and I also hope the family feels the love from the community and knows that we are thinking of them and praying for their strength and healing. I extend my most sincere condolences.

Gregg, Anna, and Payton,
We are praying for you and your family during this terrible nightmare. Every time I look over at your house, I think about Joseph tinkering on his truck or mowing the yard—-taking care of things and those he loves! There are no words of comfort that will suffice, but please know that we saw very clearly what a great young man Joseph was becoming. May he Rest In Peace.
