Jeanette Phillips

Jeanette Phillips passed away on September 10, 2023, at home. Mrs. Phillips was born in Shiloh, IL on August 23, 1934. She was raised in Belleville, IL and graduated from Belleville Township High School. She married Elgee Phillips on June 20, 1953, in San Diego, CA and he survives.

• Mother, Goldie Eugea (Sensel)
• Step-father, David Eugea
• Infant brother, Lester Perschbacher.

She is survived by her:

• Many friends

Mrs. Phillips was an active, life-long member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Belleville. She cherished her church family and was a prayer warrior beyond measure. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and being a loving Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, and on Thursday, September 14, from 9:00 – 10:00 am at St. Paul UCC.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul UCC at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 14 with Rev. Michelle Torrigian. Interment will follow at Shiloh City Cemetery in Shiloh, IL.
