Jane Marie Smith, nee Egert, age 69, of Geneseo, IL, born Saturday, November 22,1952, in Geneseo, IL, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, surrounded by her family at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Jane worked as a bookkeeper for Eagle Foods for 30 years and later as a store clerk for Crabapple Cove. She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church in Geneseo.
She was preceded in death by her:

Jane loved her grandchildren and was a big kid at heart. She loved her bubble makers, yard games, nick-knacks, crocheting and shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the beach, lake and swimming pool. She was a big fan of music and cherished being with family with friends.
Services will be held at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Geneseo, IL on July 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM followed by a luncheon at the Church.
