J.W. Oglesby, 88, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Friday, August 11, 1933, in Flora, IL, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at St. Louis Altenheim Boutique Senior Living Center.
J.W. retired as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Reasor Corporation. He was a Korean War Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his:
- Wife, Marilyn, nee Atteberry, Oglesby
- Parents, John and Bessie, nee Brock, Oglesby
- Brother, Richard Oglesby
Surviving are his:
- Son, Jay (Stephanie) Oglesby of Indianapolis, IN
- Daughter, Marilee (George) Evans of Fairview Heights, IL
- Grandson, Jacob (Breanne) Oglesby
Memorials: Memorials may be made to Coalition for People in Need or Five Mile House both located in Charleston, IL.
A Celebration of Life reception will be held at Cameo Vineyard and Winery on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 1-4pm in Greenup, IL. Donations to memorials will also be accepted at the reception.
