Helen M. Soucy, 86, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, December 10, 1936, in East St. Louis, IL, died Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, IL.
Helen was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Belleville, IL and spent Friday’s helping at their fish fry’s. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Belleville, IL.
Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, August 14, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 10:15 am from Kurrus Funeral Home for a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Belleville, IL with Rev. Kenneth York officiating Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, IL.

Helen and I were Bridge partners and close friends for many years. My sympathy to her sons.
