Helen J. DeMond

Helen J. DeMond, nee Arnold, 75, of Cahokia, IL, born Thursday, September 4, 1947, in Belleville, IL, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at her residence.

Helen worked as a cashier at Quickway Convenience store in Cahokia and later as a caregiver at Dee Dee’s Learning Academy in Dupo.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Parents: Melvin O. and Delores H., nee Snyder, Arnold
• Brother: Melvin M. “Buster” Arnold

Surviving are her:

Visitation: Visitation from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, Monday, October 17, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home, in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 17, 2022, at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Joe Scheets officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
