G. Robert Tyler

G. Robert Tyler, 87, of Belleville, IL, born Sunday, December 1, 1935 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Bob spent his entire career in the printing industry in St. Louis, helping manage several companies and was President of Printing Industries of St. Louis until his retirement. He was a long-time high school and college basketball referee, graduated BTHS in 1953 and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from SIU Carbondale in 1958. He loved to play golf and poker games. Through his job, he and Joan were able to travel throughout the U.S. and Europe. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the St. Louis Football Cardinals, St. Louis Rams and SIU Salukis.
