Dear Katrina and Michael.
Thanks for the pleasure of you guys staying at my House during your trip to Washington. All the times I was there with grandma Ruth and grandpa Ray were exceptionally fun because I got to see Finn every time I came home to visit. I think you two are exceptional parents and unconditional love to have Finn’s organs donated. May God keep you In prayer and help you move along through this ordeal.
Love , Mary Ann

The acceptance of knowing that precious Finn will never come running towards me, laughing with a huge smile on his face for our special “high 5” moment is incredibly difficult. Hearing Finn’s laugh spreading joy and smiles through our neighborhood and watching him running was the highlight of so many of our days. I can still hear his incredibly joyful and loud laughter. GOD used Finn to spread his love and joy to so many!! Finn was like a little bumblebee buzzing around as happily as fast as he could touching as many hearts as possible in his short time here on earth. Finn’s work on earth is done and now he’s having so much fun in heaven!! If everyone on earth spread joy and love like Finn did, this planet would explode! I can feel Finn’s joyful spirit and I will continue in Finn’s memory to pass on his love that he so graciously shared with me, to others that cross my path or as Finn did perhaps I’ll purposely put myself in someone’s path who needs to feel loved. The world feels incredibly empty and quiet right now. It amazes me how one little spirit was larger than life! In dealing with chronic depression, “FINN FILLED MY SOUL WITH JOY, LIGHT, HOPE & LOVE!!!” Prayers, love and support to Katrina and Mike, however and whenever they may need. All my love to my favorite little family. And all my love to every soul Finn touched who is missing him so much. I’m so looking forward to seeing Finn running towards me in heaven where we’ll “high 5” and share smiles and laughter again 🙂

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Finn’s family and friends as they lament, bereave, and celebrate this tiny angel´s life on earth. I pray for strength and providence. Jesus said: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 NIV

I do not know you, but I feel that I have gotten to know Finn through his infectious smile that brought me to this site as I was looking for information about a friend’s funeral service. I will forever remember Finn and the love he gave to so many. Like I said, I never met him, but I can still hear the laughter and joy that he spread to others. Finn is not “Finnished” as he will live on in the lives of others who received his organs and in the memories that will fill all of the people that knew him.

Michael and Katrina, the days ahead will be hard, but God will help the hurt turn into beautiful memories in time. I am praying for you and all who knew little Finn who seems as if he was larger than life itself, so large that earth was not big enough to contain him.

May God Bless you and keep you. May His light (and Finn’s) shine down on you and give you peace!

Ample make this bed.
Make this bed with awe;
In it wait till judgment break
Excellent and fair.

Be its mattress straight,
Be its pillow round;
Let no sunrise’ yellow noise
Interrupt this ground.
