Eddie E. Harper, 65, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, December 22, 1955 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Eddie was a Service Manager for State Wide Tire Company in St. Louis, MO.
He was preceded in death by his:
- Parents: Alton E. and Betty Jo, nee Dowdy, Harper
Surviving are his:
- Wife: Karen S., nee Parris, Harper of Belleville, IL
- Son: Jesse (Jennifer) Harper of Dupo, IL
- Grandchildren
- Lucas
- Olivia
- Lillian
- Sister: Nan (Henry) Misselhorn of Belleville, IL
- Many nieces and nephews
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.
Funeral: Private family interment.

Eddie took a kid from the ghetto and showed him how to change a tire. I have a lot of good memories of working for Eddie most of our conversations were not about the job they were about life and I cherish those times one of the best things about Eddie was he was a fair person and that’s all we can ask for
