So sad to hear this. Last time I saw Dwayne, he took me to see Journey at Riverport. Had many good times at Chuck Inn. Will miss you, Dwayne.

Your family has my deepest sympathy. Dwayne was a Belleville neighborhood pal and “school buddy” at Humboldt, Franklin, and Central Junior High. We both played drums, but he excelled at percussion while I watched and admired his talent. Dwayne was a guy that you could disagree with and still be friends. His sense of humor drove me batty, and also made me laugh with gusto! The last time I spoke with him, he was employed at Small’s Clothing Store in downtown Belleville. He is someone from my youth that I will always remember fondly!
