Dolores “Dolly” R. Evans, nee Deluvia, 82, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, March 28, 1939, in East St. Louis, IL, died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Caseyville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Dolores “Dolly” worked as a billing clerk at Anderson Truck Line, St. Louis, Mo, before becoming a lifetime homemaker. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Belleville IL, graduated from St. Cyril grade School and Teresa Academy, East St. Louis, IL. Served as extraordinary minister, also prefect of St Peter Cathedral Perpetual Help Society and first female trustee of the parish. Volunteered in paschal Care at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Former thoroughbred and standardbred owner racing throughout the midwest. Member of the HBPA and the ISSA. She enjoyed cooking and visiting local casinos.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the St. Henry’s Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul Society or Belleville Area Humane Society.

Visitation: Visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am Thursday, December 9, 2021 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 9, 2021 at St. Henry Catholic Church, with Rev. Kenneth York officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
