Tim,
I can’t imagine how much you miss this beautiful lady. Diana was an angel to so many people. While my family was visiting over the summer, Diana was so concerned about my mom and my sister (both suffer from Parkinsons) that she brought over special items they may need while here. The amazing fact to that was that Diana stopped on her way back from treatment to deliver these items. Diana needed help getting in and out of the car and needed help walking to my door. That was Diana!
While my sister was undergoing Chemo treatments, Diana would call her to encourage her to not give up! Diana would pray for my family even during her own worst days. That was Diana!
On the evening of the 23rd of Dec, while Tim was making dinner, Diana said to me, “I like that guy, I think I’ll keep him.” She then said, “Actually I love that guy”. I told her that I loved that guy too and I promised her I would check in on him often. Please let me know if there is anything Mark or I can do to make the upcoming days a bit less painful. Help me keep my promise to her. If I am feeling this terrible void, I can’t imagine what you’re going through. Know that we love you, your children and grandchildren and we will do anything we can to ease your pain.

So sorry for the loss of Diana she was a very nice lady and very nice to my mom and dad verle and Matilda next door neighbor there oldest daughter Lisa Gaal and Vernon she will be greatly missed

Diana was a very special person. I knew of her through her friendship with my sister but had never met her in person. This past year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was debating a course of treatment, that was frightening me and I didn’t know if I would be able to complete it. My sister asked Diana if she would mind talking to me. Diana called and we talked for at least two hours, as she related her own experiences and treatment. Her sense of humor, warmth, and caring eased my worries and I decided to have the treatment. After that day, it was like I had a new friend. She followed my progress, all while she was fighting her own battle. We talked on the phone a few times and messaged through IM. She was always positive and upbeat and was an outstanding example of what it means to be a fierce warrior.I will always remember her kindness and strength.

I never had the please of knowing Diana personally, but I know from the stories I have heard from friends and others that she had a heart of gold. She will be truly missed by so many. May god strengthen her family and those around her in this difficult time. Sending prayers ❤️

So sorry for your loss Tim. I did not know Diane but it sounds like she was a beautiful person in and out. Sending prayers for you and the entire family.

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to you and your family, Tim. I was shocked to learn of Diana’s passing. She was truly one of the best people on the planet.

I met her when she worked with my Mother at Edgemont Bank. That should tell you how long ago that was. We were both probably 20 yrs old. Whenever I went in to see my mom, Diana always had something funny to say or would just give me a smile if she was busy. And when you and her started dating, I remember being so happy for you knowing that you would have her in your life.

You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers. I’ll also pray for the healing and comfort for you to ease the pain of your loss.

Tim, I never got the opportunity to meet you, but I want to tell you about Diana‘s generosity. I work at the FCB Troy branch. Probably about 10 years ago now I’m not exactly sure of the time. I had two young children at home and have been divorced, I struggled, just to keep up. The roof on my home, started to blow off shingles, to the point I needed to have a new roof. I didn’t have a lot of money, and I wasn’t sure how I was going to take care of this problem. Anyhow, Diana told me that Al, her husband worked for a roofing company, and she would ask him if she could get any kind of discount on shingles for me. This is all initiated by Diane, I never asked her for any help. Anyhow Al, found a bundle of shingles in the warehouse in the corner that had been there for sometime, somebody’s order and he said I could have the shingles. Have them not even pay for them. So then Diana had the idea that she knew somebody who could put the shingles on for me, and she worked a deal with him to give me such a great discount. Not only that, but when I came to work one day she handed me an envelope, in the envelope was enough money to cover the cost of having my roof repaired. She had reached out to all the people at FCB, and told them that I needed some help and everybody pitched in . That’s not the only time she help me. I have MS and I had difficulty getting in and out of my home because I had steps to the door. The year before Al passed away but he came of course after Diane asked and told him what the situation was, with his friends on the weekend and built me a handicap ramp to my house. She suggested I get the funding for the materials from the MS Society which I did, and Al and all his friends donated their time. Just two examples of how thoughtful she always was she always looked out for me and everybody, I suppose she may have told you some of that I don’t know I wanted you to know.
