Dennis L. Shelton, 71, of Millstadt, IL, born Friday, April 6, 1951, in Belleville, IL, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO surrounded by family and loved ones.

Dennis was a life-long union member for United Mine Workers of America, Local 2295 and Teamsters Local 50. He loved his family more than anything, especially his five beloved grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being outdoors. Dennis enjoyed teaching his grandchildren everything he knew. Put him in a boat or a bass tournament and that is where he was happiest.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation: Visitation from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Friday, July 8, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, July 8, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor David Harbison officiating. Private family interment.
