It was a great privilege to be Dave’s pastor. He taught me much through his caring heart, gentle manner, and generous spirit. He will be greatly missed. But I find peace in knowing that Dave was intimately connected to Jesus Christ. I have absolute confidence that he has entered the gates of Heaven and has now met Jesus face-to-Face. I am sorry for your loss. Still, Heaven is richer tonight.

Our prayers are with you during this most difficult time. I loved my cousin David and have many wonderful memories of our family times together. It gives me great peace to know that he is now with his Heavenly Father, that he is reunited with his mom and dad, and that I will see him again in a better place.

My prayers are with you and the boys during this very difficult time. I have missed you and David since you left Virginia many years ago. I can still here you laughing and calling David, Dwayne. We had a lot of great times together. I know how special he was, just have comfort and knowing he is in no more pain and he can breathe. Sincerely Carolyn

This is David’s cousin, Gary. Donna and I were so sorry to hear of his illness and now his passing. Please accept our sincere sympathies. I didn’t know him well, but sure heard a lot about him when we visited his dad last year. He was very proud of all his children, and grandchildren.

David was a very kind young man to me in Annapolis MD in our teen years. A stand up gentleman even then. He made us laugh ALOT! A great sense of humor and an amazing memory. He had read all the JR Tolkien series ad told me the entire story, since wi didn’t have the books. My condolences to your family for such a huge loss. I pray that your happy memories outweigh your grief someday.

“David overcame the errors of his youth to live a fruitful and successful life. Success in rising to the top grades of enlisted rank in the Air Force; success in a long term marriage; success by raising two responsible sons; success in obtaining a college degree; and success in developing a relationship with Our Maker. We are all proud of the man you came to be, and you will be missed. You are gone too soon, but when Christ calls….it is time to join Him.”
