Darlene A. Wagner, nee Muskopf, 90, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, April 14, 1932, in Millstadt, IL, passed away April 12, 2023 at Mercy Rehabilitation and Care Center in Swansea, IL.

Darlene retired as a hostess for Hy-Ho Restaurant.

She was preceded in death by her:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Visitation: Visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 29, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home with Deacon Wayne Weiler officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.

You all have my deepest sympathy on your loss of your mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, etc. i remember going to Hy Ho and receiving great service from her always with a smile. God bless you.

I’m so sorry to hear of Darlene’s passing. I worked with her for many years at HyHo. She was the one who would always make my birthday cake. (German Chocolate). She’s flying with the angels ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Chris and I are very sorry to hear of Her passing. We had game night at her son Keith and wife Rite Scharf ‘s house several times. She was quite the competitor. Our condolences goes out to her children and all of her grandchildren/plus. May she rest in Peace. Fly high Darlene

I’m so sorry for your loss. I grew up seeing Darlene almost everyday at HyHo. She made my daughter a hooded towel for my baby shower gift, and I still think of her when I use it for my son.
