Charles M. Kennedy, 68, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, December 11, 1952, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021; at Swansea Rehabilitation and Care Center in Swansea, IL.
Charles was a Union Carpenter. He was an avid hunter enjoyed fishing and rock and roll music.
He was preceded in death by his:
- Parents, Charles H. and Mildred L., nee Snell, Kennedy
- Brother, Jeffrey S. Kennedy
- Brother-in-law, Fred R. Naumann
Surviving are his:
- Son, Thomas Kennedy of Belleville, IL
- Brother, James “Jimmy” H. (Patricia) Kennedy of Red Bud, IL
- Sister, Janis S. Naumann of New Valmeyer, IL
Memorials: Memorials may be made c/o Thomas Kennedy for funeral expenses or the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Funeral: Private family services.

Tom,
I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Mark. I just found out this evening, that he had passed. It has been a difficult year after we lost Dad in January. I still break down and just cry, it’s just so hard to believe he is gone. I am sending you much love and prayers.
I pray that you find peace and comfort in the memories of your Dad. It’s not goodbye, it is until we meet again on the other side.
