One of the kindest and most genuine guys I have ever known. It was an honor being his suite-mate and friend in college.

My deepest condolences to David’s family. I knew David from childhood at Bond Camp and also in Dallas. He was a very kind person.

We wish Phyllis, Paul, and all the rest of the family our most heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dear husband, brother, and family member! David’s life was an inspiration and blessing to many of us who knew him personally or had some association with him in his lifetime and ministry as a chaplain. May our Lord reward him for his faith and service in His eternal Kingdom! May our Lord Jesus Christ comfort you in all your grief at this time with all hope through His resurrection! Warmly yours in Christ from Tuebingen, Germany, Jim (classmate at and fellow alumnus of Dallas Christian College) and Naomi Kautt

My heart is filled with sorrow upon hearing the news about my friend David Booth’s passing. My most sincere condolences go out to Phyllis and all other family members.
Still remember the good times we had at Dallas Christian College as roommates. David, you fought a good fight and finished the race, Now you are in a better place where no more pain or suffering.

David was a sweet spirit who genuinely loved the Lord and leveraged all he had in serving Jesus and loving the Lord’s people. I look forward to the reunion he is now a part of.

Going to miss you, David.
Hard to imagine your smile could get any bigger, but I know it is. Race you to Jesus’ house when I see you. Pancakes and ice cream every day. “Won’t it be great?” Praying for your family and all your friends.

David was always an example of how to follow Jesus in a moment by moment way. Always in a jovial mood, and always concerned about others. Looking forward to that day of reunion!!

I lost a brother Sunday. I never had an official brother but rather a DeMolay was just as important and not replaceable. You can’t replace the brotherhood of DeMolay nor can I explain it or want to. May God invite you in and give you peace.
Back in the 70’s when we met a song that rang true with all DeMolay brothers then was “He Ain’t Heavy He’s My Brother” It still rings true today. Rest In Peace my brother. I know David is with God because as any DeMolay our goal become a better person then when we became a DeMolay and David started out a better person than any of us did.
