Carol Ann Marie Frierdich, 74, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, July 11, 1947, in Belleville, IL, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022; at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Carol was the manager for Hoof and Paw Animal Clinic in Belleville and formerly ran Tharps Western Store for many years. She bred, raised and trained horses her entire life. She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Belleville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her:
- Parents, Erwin and Flora, nee Jasper, Frierdich
- Brother, Donald W. Frierdich
Surviving are her:
- Companion of ten plus years, Timothy Lesch DVM of Belleville, IL
- Brother, Kenneth Frierdich
- Nephew, Bob (Rebecca) Frierdich
- Niece, Christine Matlock
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Violence Prevention Center.
Funeral: Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Christ United Church of Christ in Belleville, IL.

My deepest sympathy to Tim, Kenny, Bobby, Christine, and great nieces and nephews. She loved all of you so very very much. My heart breaks for you, I love Carol so much and we had had a long really good conversation recently. I will treasure that conversation for the rest of my life. Best cousin ever.

My heartfelt sympathy to Tim, and Carol’s family. I have been friends with Carol since she was in her teens. Our strong bond was our love of horses, that continued all through her life. Carol was a loving and thoughtful friend.
May she rest with her LORD in peace.
