Billy “Bill” Joe Ponder, 60, of Belleville, IL, born Wednesday, July 4, 1962, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 at his residence in Belleville, IL.

Bill was a general manager for Hardee’s and currently worked for Lowe’s in Belleville, IL.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, May 5, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home with Rev. Kim Hagedorn officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL. His service may be viewed starting at 10:20 am through the Kurrus website live stream link.

Billy, we go way back and I am so grateful for the fun memories I have of you and Pam. Although the last time I saw you was at Pam’s funeral I will remember you both with love. Rest in peace my friend.
