Edith I. Anderson

Edith I. Anderson, nee Harris, 86, of Millstadt, IL, born Sunday, November 23, 1924, in East Saint Louis, IL, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Anderson worked as a secretary for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 28 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Belleville, IL, East St. Louis Business Women's Club, Millstadt Home Extension Club, Community Concerts Association, Collinsville Little Theatre Group, and Masquers Belleville First Assembly Choir.

She was preceded in death by her:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, First Assembly of God Church in Belleville, or Heartland Home Care & Hospice.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, June 24, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. David Raynaud officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
