Jeanith L. Miller

Jeanith L. Miller, nee Dietz, 82, of Belleville, Illinois, born Monday, September 2, 1929, in Lenzburg, IL, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

Jeanith and Ardell started Bell City Battery in 1960. Those who regularly came into Bell City Battery knew Jeanith well.  Jean was a source of positive support to all that she knew.  Her infectious smile,  positive attitude and bright personality would be immediately present when you talked with her.  She pushed those around her to not only succeed, but to better themselves on a daily basis.  Jean had an undying love for her family, especially her two children. Her goal in life was to work hard enough that her children and grandchildren could have a life better than she had known.  She worked side-by-side with her husband starting and building a successful business until her health prevented her from coming to work.  Even with failing health, she continued to offer unmatched support, positive influence and an uncanny business sense to those around her.  Jean was an absolutely amazing wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed especially by Ardell, Ginger, Keegan and Tayler who saw her daily on a daily basis. She was a member of Rob Morris Chapter #98 O.E.S. and Turkey Hill Grange since 1973.

• Son: Ardell "Artie" Miller Jr.

Surviving are her:

• Loving Husband: Ardell E. Miller Sr. of Belleville, IL whom she married on August 3, 1953 at St. Paul's Church in Belleville, IL
• Daughter: Jeanith "Ginger" Miller of Belleville, IL

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm with the Turkey Hill Grange conducting a funeral service at 7:30 pm Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 16, 2011 at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel, with Fr. Andrew Chalkey officiating  Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
