Marthagene K. Cross

Marthagene K. Cross, nee Kuehn, 92, of Saint Charles, Missouri, formerly of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, November 23, 1918, in East Saint Louis, IL, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at her residence.

In 1981, Marthagene retired after 20 years as a legal secretary for James McRoberts Attorney at Law. She was a well known book reviewer. She was a former member of Signal Hill United Methodist Church in Belleville, IL, current member of St. Charles First United Methodist Church a United Methodist Woman  and a 50 year member of the "Y' Club (YMCA) in East St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation:  Friends may call from 9:30 am - 11:00 am Friday, October 28, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 28, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel, with  Rev. Carl Knapp officiating.  Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
