John R. Shaw

 

 

John R. Shaw, 46, of Waterloo, IL, born Friday, May 7, 1965, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, June 13, 2011 at Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, IL.

Mr. Shaw was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa and Demolay.

 

He was preceded in death by his:

  • Mother: Mary nee Moon Shaw

Surviving are his:

  • Father: Ralph Shaw of Chesterfield, MO

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Monroe County Humane Society.

Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home. Private interment will be held.

    John was surely one of a kind, one of the most straight forward people we knew and always there if we needed him. I am so sorry for the Shaw families loss, John will be missed greatly. He and the family and his beloved pets (which he loved so much) are in our thoughts and prayers.

    It's a real shame to hear about the passing of our fraternity brother, John, a guy who would have stood up for all of us, regardless of whether we were close to him or not.
