It's a real shame to hear about the passing of our fraternity brother, John, a guy who would have stood up for all of us, regardless of whether we were close to him or not. That's just the kind of integrity the guy had. I think all of us can probably still easily conjure up a smile with thoughts about some of the things he said, his music and the portal to Bulky's Pub. Go easy into the Chapter Eternal, Brother Shaw. Thoughts go out to Spence, the rest of his family and all of his friends.

The Bible makes this comforting promise:"God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves."(Psalm 34:18)It also assures us: Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, and he himself will sustain you." (Psalm 34:18)also read(Psalm 83:18)

This is a great loss to many. John, a brother Demolay, and good friend, you will be deeply missed. Time may pass too quickly and lives drift apart, but there will always be those memories. Rest In Peace.
