Steve  Brooks, 55, of O'Fallon, Illinois, born Wednesday, August 21, 1957, in East St Louis, IL, died Friday, October 19, 2012 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Steve took pride in being a devoted husband and father.  He was passionate for the children's ministry at church.

He was preceded in death by his:

  • Parents: Jim and Catherine M. nee Logan Brooks

Surviving are his:

  • Wife:  Kim Brooks of O'Fallon, IL 
  • Son:  Caycee  Brooks of O'Fallon, IL 
  • Daughters: 
    • Hannah Brooks of O'Fallon, IL
    • Carrie Brooks of O'Fallon, IL
    Brother:  Jim Brooks of Belleville, IL

Memorial:  Memorials may be made to the Family

By his request, cremation was held.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Gathering Place Church of God in O'Fallon, IL.

Memorial Service:  Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Gathering Place Church of God, with Pastor Brian Pope  officiating.
