Ronald L. Herzog


Ronald L. Herzog, 62, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, November 11, 1947, in East St Louis, IL, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.

Mr. Herzog was a retired police officer for Alton & Southern Railroad and was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran.
   

He was preceded in death by his:

Parents: Lewis L. and Eileen D. nee Hamlin Herzog.

Surviving are his:

  • Daughter: Lynn (Stephen) Brooks of Belleville, IL
  • Sister: Linda (Larry) Uchtman of Palm Harbor, FL

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or to the Donors Choice.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4-7 P.M., Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Kurrus Funeral Home. By his request cremation will be held and a private family burial will be held at a later date at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
