What can I say about Jim, or "Watkins" as he was known here in Illinois. He was a great person, always the one you could talk to about anything, and everything. In the few short years I knew him we had some fun times, lots of deep conversations with him. If you started talking to him, or needed advice you were going to get advice and listen to it, but i am thankful I got to hear what he said. He was a helping hand and would gladly and proudly give you his own bedroom if you were in a bad situation, while he slept on the couch. All I can say now is Watkins I promise I will take some of your advice of which I was so quick to forget when you were giving it, and I hope there's alot of the "blue and green" of which you were so fond of where you are at.

The short time I knew him, I felt like I was talking with and hanging out with a very unique soul. He helped out with a student film I did last August, gave heartfelt and wise advice and always had a story to tell.
I hope that where you are now is a place where all sickness, sorrow and loneliness have fled away.

Watkins could not escape his demons, but he did what he could to fight them off. I never met a person like him, and I probably never will again. I know he's at peace now. He doesn't have to worry anymore. RIP my friend.
