Betty L. Heileman

Betty L. Heileman, nee Louvier, 82, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, August 20, 1928, in East St. Louis, IL, went Home to The Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Grange Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Mrs. Heileman was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Belleville, IL since 1967, she valued her "Talking Club" since 1946 and was charter member of the Belleville Junior Womens Club.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Parents: Thomas and Bessie nee Steinman Louvier
• Sister in Infancy: Alice Louvier

Surviving are her:

• Husband: Howard W. "Sonny" Heileman whom she married December 6, 1949
• Daughters

Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the The Grange Nursing Home or Hospice of Southern Illinois. 

Visitation: Friends may call from 2-5 P.M., Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, April 11, 2011 at Saint Matthew United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Slone and Rev. Bob Souders officiating. She was a brain donor for Parkinsons Research and her body was donated to Washington University School of Medicine.
