Bernice M. Hightower



Bernice M. Hightower, nee Schoreack, 88, of Saint Louis, Missouri, born Saturday, May 31, 1924, in Edwardsville, IL, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Green Park Nursing Home in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bernice worked as a bookkeeper for Custom Towels Inc.. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church Belleville Illinois.  She also volunteered and supported Gateway Pet Guardians - St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Parents: Edwin and Lena nee Koch Schoreack
  • Brother: Warren Schoreack.

Surviving are her:

  • Daughters
    • Deborah K. (Tom) Martin of Freeburg, IL
    • Peggy Hightower of Saint Louis, MO

Services: By her request her body was donated to Science
