James F. Brewer

James F. Brewer, 81, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born Sunday, August 23, 1931, in Halliday, AR, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

James was the owner of Brewer Design Engineering and was a licensed structural engineer for the State of Illinois.  He was a member of Winstanley Baptist Church Fairview Heights Illinois and a United States Korean War Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his:

  • Parents: Homer Lee and Eudetta nee Merideth Brewer Sr.

Surviving are his:

  • Wife: Donna J. nee Merrick Brewer
  • Son: J. Scott Brewer of Fairview Heights, IL
  • Daughter: Michelle R. (Steve) Campbell of Florissant, MO
  • Brother: Homer Lee Brewer (Sondra) Jr of Labelle, FL

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Winstanley Baptist Church.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Winstanley Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Winstanley Baptist Church, with Dr. Steve Phillips and Rev. Wendell Garrison officiating. Private family interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
