Melanie Lynn Rasch, 43, of Belleville, Illinois, born Saturday, June 14, 1969, in Belleville, IL, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at her residence in Belleville, IL.
She liked sharing her love and time with her family everyday and thoroughly enjoyed being mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, decorating, planting sunflowers in the garden. Sunflowers were her favorite flower. She enjoyed writing poems in her spare time, camping with family and going to Pike's Peak in Colorado. She was involved with Loyalty Week at Belleville East, where she went to prom with her friend Geri. She enjoyed working with her brothers and father during local union parade. She enjoyed going to Fun Spot Skating rink, being with her close friends, and was on the Sundowners Swim. team. She enjoyed listening to music, being in the church choir and spending time with her girlfriends.
She was preceded in death by her parents:
