Ruth I. Young, nee Cohn , 87, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, March 15, 1923, in St. Louis Missouri, died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at St. Pauls Home in Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Young was the Retired Owner of Ryan Midway Tavern.

She was preceded in death by her:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4-7 P.M., Tuesday, February 15 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Father Kenneth York officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Hghts, IL.

    My wife, Virginia, and I will miss Aunt Ruthie. We always looked forward to seeing the "aunts" when we visited St. Louis.
