Opal L. Wangelin-Stenitzer, nee Murphy, 83, of Belleville, Illinois, born Saturday, July 7, 1928, died Friday, October 21, 2011 at  her residence.

Opal worked as a Retail Clerk. She was a member of  Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Cahokia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Parents: Herbert and Helen nee Francois Murphy 
  • Sisters:

    • Maggie Humphrey 
  • Brother: Raymond Brent

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4 - 8 pm, on Tuesday October 25, 2011  at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Jeffrey Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
