Cecil L. Williams

Cecil L. Williams, 86, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, March 6, 1923, in Murphysboro, IL, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 in Saint Pauls Home, Belleville IL.

Mr. Williams worked as an Accountant for Rawlings Sporting Goods retiring after 33 years of service. He was a WWII Marine Veteran, a member of the1st Lutheran church of Murphysboro, a Life member of Gothic Lodge #852 AF & AM, Past President of the District 118 School Board and was a member of the 4th Division Marine Corp Retirement Group.

He is preceded in death by:

  • Father and Mother-in-Law: Oscar and Eleanora Weaver

Visitation: Friends may call from 3-8 P.M., Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Downs officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
