Charles Lee "Sonny" Green Jr., 78, of Belleville, IL, born Wednesday, November 2, 1932, in Granite City, IL, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Mr. Green Jr. worked as a machine shop foreman for Cerro Copper and was a United Stated Navy Veteran.


He was preceded in death by his:

  • Parents: Charles Lee and Irma Viola Isham Green Sr.
  • Aunt: Edna Isham

Memorials:  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association or American Cancer Society.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 12-1 P.M., Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel. Private family interment will be held.
