Anna "Fay" Brem, nee Brawley, 74, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born Tuesday, September 7, 1937, in East Saint Louis, IL, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

Mrs. Brem worked as an accounts payable clerk for Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL and she was a member of Swansea Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Parents: Vergil E. and Katie L. nee Horn Brawley
  • One Brother: Virgil Brawley
  • Two Sisters
    • Laverne Avery
    • Helen Steppe


Surviving are her:

  • One Daughter: Melinda Fay (Larry M.) Kern of O Fallon, IL

    • Georgia A. Brawley of Swansea, IL
    • Nellie M. (Raymond) Ross of Desert Hot Springs, CA
  • Two Grandchildren
    • Lara (Will) Baker
    • Adam Kern 
  • Sister-in-law: Dorothy Brawley of Fairview Heights, IL

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Smith officiating  Private family burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
