John W. Eggerding

John W. Eggerding, 69, of Belleville, Illinois, born Saturday, August 29, 1942, in Red Bud, IL, died Monday, September 26, 2011 at Relais Bonne Eau in Edwardsville, Illinois.

Mr. Eggerding was a retired Computer Software salesman. He was a member and vice president of Signal Hill Lutheran Church. He served on the Board of Directors of the Southern Illinois District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and the Convention Planning and Finance Committees. He also served on the Finance Committee of Unity Lutheran School in East St. Louis, IL.

He was preceded in death by his:

  • Wife: Geraldine "Jerri" nee Hitzemann  Eggerding of Belleville, IL, whom he married September 21, 1963 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud, IL

Visitation:  Friends may call from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 30, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Red Bud/Prairie, IL with Pastor Mark Wiesner officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Red Bud, Illinois.
