Fred H. Lamont, 92, of Freeburg, IL, born Sunday, June 30, 1918, in East St. Louis, died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg.

Mr. Lamont was a Retired Auto Parts Clerk. He was a member of American Legion Post 550, Freeburg, IL and Senior League Bowling-Panarama Lanes

He was preceded in death by his:

• Parents: Fred and Louisa nee Heinzl Lamont
• Brother: Frank Lamont

Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 P.M., Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday May 11, 2011, at Kurrus Funeral Home with Father Dennis Voss officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missour.
