Martha Jone Hess, nee Knuckles, 74, of Maryville, IL, born Saturday, February 27, 1937, in Etowah, AR, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday March 31, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL

    Sandy and Family, I am so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful, sweet woman, and anyone who had the pleasure of getting to know her was truly blessed. She treated me as if I was one of her own, and I will never forget her laughter or her kindness. She loved each and every one of her family with all of her heart . I know her and my Mom are sitting in heaven, drinking iced tea and reminiscing about all the trouble (and love) that we gave them.
