Carol J. Rolen, nee Stammer, 77, of Belleville, Illinois, born Tuesday, December 4, 1934, in St. Louis, MO, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Four Fountains Convalescent Center in Belleville, Illinois.

Carol was a member of Saint Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church in Belleville Illinois and Fellowship of Christian Singles .  

She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  A funeral procession will leave from Kurrus Funeral  Home in Belleville, IL at 12:45pm, Monday, February 27, 2012 for a 1:00 pm mass of Christian Burial at Saint Augustine of Canterbury in Belleville, Illinois with Fr. Patrick Okwumuo and Deacon Jerry Bach officiating.  Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

    It seems like the Rolen family has been a part of our extended neighborhood family all of my life. Even though I haven't seen you guys, the Nager family still considers you guys as such. I'm sorry about the loss of your mom..she was a very nice lady to all of us. Thinking of you, Jimmy, during this time of loss.

    Dear Rolen Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Carol was a very kind and sweet person. I was her neighbor on Woodfield Dr. and I enjoyed talking with her.
