Vonna L.  Lougeay, nee Brown, 81, of Belleville, Illinois, born Friday, July 11, 1930, in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL.

She was a member of Signal Hill United Methodist Church, Belleville Illinois, where she was a Sunday school teacher, and the Women's Society

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Husband: Edward L. Lougeay Jr. 
  • Parents:   Orville H. and Mildred E. nee Tipton Brown 
  • Sister: Frances J. DeFrates

Surviving are her: 

  • Daughter: Julie (Michael) Maxwell of Belleville, IL
  • Son: Scott (Shellie) Lougeay of Belleville, IL 
  • Brother: Kenneth O. Brown of Belleville, IL 
  • Brother-in-law: Irv DeFrates Jr. of Belleville, IL

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert  Edwards and Rev. James Wheeler officiating  Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
