Marilyn E. Foster, nee Wilke, 56, of Freeburg, Illinois, born Thursday, March 15, 1956, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, IL .

Marilyn worked in Human Resources for K-Mart in Belleville, IL. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Belleville, IL.  Marilyn dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Parents: Albert H. and Shirley Wilke nee Jackson
  • Sister: Diana Wilke


Surviving are her:

  • Husband: Dale Foster of Freeburg, IL
  • Sons:
    • Kevin (Teri) Foster of Freeburg, IL
    • Brian (Sarah) Foster of Freeburg, IL
  • Brother: William (Debbie) Wilke of Belleville, IL
  • Sister: Margie (William) Yearian of Belleville, IL
  • Grandchildren: Emma, Logan, Ethan and Delilah Foster
  • Nieces and Nephews                     


Memorials: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, April 2, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Douglas Stewart officiating.  Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
