Wayne M. Conrad
Wayne M. Conrad, 79, of Belleville, Illinois, born Saturday, July 8, 1933, in Golconda, IL, died Friday, October 26, 2012 at Swansea Rehabilitation and Care Center in Swansea, Illinois.
Wayne retired after 35 years as an Assistant Operator for Illinois American Water Company. He was an Korean War Army veteran, President of the UWUA Local #405 for 25 years and a member of St. Clair Masonic Lodge #24 AF & AM.
He was preceded in death by his:
- Parents: Roy and Alta, nee Williams, Conrad
- Brothers: Roy and Lowell Conrad
Surviving are his:
- Wife: Phyllis, nee Schroll, Conrad of Belleville, IL whom he married December 26, 1953

Memorials: Memorials may be given to Cross Street Community of Christ Church, Shiloh, IL.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, October 29, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Galen Henson officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
