Samuel Scott Galloway, 87, of Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, Illinois, born Sunday, October 12, 1924, in Pinckneyville, IL, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, Illinois.

Mr. Galloway was a retiree of Union Electric (Ameren) in St. Louis, MO. He was a member of Saint Matthew United Methodist Church in Belleville Illinois, Gothic Lodge 852,  A.F. & A.M. Fairview Heights, IL  and retired U. E. Workers Chapter 148.  

He was preceded in death by his:

• First Wife: June Galloway 1976
• Daughter: Barbara Wright 1979
• Brother: Ralph Galloway

Visitation:  Friends may call from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Saint Matthew United Methodist Church in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Saint Matthew United Methodist Church, with Rev. James Slone officiating. Private family interment will be held at Caseyville City Cemetery in Caseyville, Illinois.
