Marilyn Ruth Edmundson, nee Dillon, 58, of East Saint Louis, Illinois, born Thursday, August 27, 1953, in East Saint Louis, IL, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.
Marilyn was a retired humane officer for the Belleville Humane Society and she was a former member of First Baptist Church in Villa Hills.
She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation: Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, March 12, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois, there will be no visitation on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 and from 9:00 am - 11:00 am Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Green Mount Protestant Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.

I met Marilyn when she worked for the Humane Society in Belleville. I was one of her husband's co-workers across the street at Animal Control. Marilyn was a wonderful person and I know she will be sadly missed My prayers and condolences to the family
