Joan M. Williams, nee DeMars, 83, of Fairview Heights, Illinois, born Friday, May 3, 1929, in East Saint Louis, IL, died Friday, December 14, 2012 at her residence.

Joan was a member of Saint John United Church of  Christ in Fairview Heights, Illinois and a former member of Immanuel United Church of Christ.
 
She was preceded in death by her:

• Son: R. Lannan Williams

Visitation:  Friends may call from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, December 17, 2012 at Saint John United Church of Christ in Fairview Heights, IL with Rev. Jim Nolan officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
