Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Sonsoucie Sr.
Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Sonsoucie Sr., 68, of Smithton, Illinois, born Tuesday, June 13, 1944, in Old Mines, MO, died Friday, August 10, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.
Ronald worked as a truck driver for Parrish Trucking in Freeburg, IL and Dressler Trucking in St. Libory, IL. He was a member of the American Legion Post 58-Freedom Farm. He loved his pet dog Annie, enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, darts and was a loving father and grandfather. He was also a United States Vietnam War Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his:
- Wife: Victoria nee McLaughlin Sonsoucie
- Parents: Robert and Mabel nee Missey Sonsoucie
- Brother: Dickey Sonsoucie.

- Ronald L. (Shannon) Sonsoucie Jr. of Springfield, IL
- John (Kelly) Sonsoucie of Smithton, IL
- Joseph (Mary) Sonsoucie of Camden, MO
- 10 Brothers and Sisters
- 13 Grandchildren
- Numerous Great Grandchildren,

Funeral: Military Honors will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, August 13, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home.
Private family interment will be held.
