Roland W. "Rolly" Keller, Jr., 78, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, January 7, 1932, in E. St. Louis, IL, died Monday, August 9, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Keller worked as a Comptroller for Liese Lumber and as an Accountant for J.W. Boyle. He was Treasurer of Signal Hill Volunteer Fire Department since 1976 and a member of Signal Hill Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by:

Surviving are his:

  • Wife: Dorothy A., nee Schumacher, Keller
  • Son: Brad (Kathy) Keller of Charlotte, NC
  • Daughter: Debra (Randy Miller) Keller of Alstead, NH

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5-8 pm, Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Wiesner officiating. Entombment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.

    Mr. Keller was always jovial and very sweet when he would stop by my office at Steibel License Service. He will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathy to all of his family, for I personally know how much he will be missed!
