Karen S. Sappington

Karen S. Sappington, nee Henderson, 51, of Swansea, Illinois, born Tuesday, June 13, 1961, in Rochestor, IN, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at her residence in Swansea, Illinois.

Karen worked as a pharmacist and was an honors graduate of Purdue University.  She was involved with Big Brothers and Big Sisters along with the Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity during her time at Purdue.  She was deeply loved by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her:

Memorials: In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Red Cross.

Visitation:  Friends may call from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Kurrus Funeral Home.
