L. Reid Crank, Jr., 75, of Swansea, IL, born Tuesday, September 10, 1935, in East St. Louis, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis.
Mr. Crank was the retired owner of Leland R. Crank Insurance Agency, Inc. He was a member St. Nicholas Catholic Church in O'Fallon, IL, East Lodge #504 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies; Ainad Shrine; Southern Illinois Court #86 R.O.J.
He was preceded in death by:
- Parents: Leland R.and Marjorie nee Wilton Crank, Sr.
- Sister: Lynn Schneider
Surviving are his:
- Wife: Shirley R. nee Schlecht Crank
- Daughter: Amy (Jim) deJong of Columbia, MO
- Son: Michael (Mary Kay) Crank of Belleville, IL

- Hannah Crank
- Emma Crank
- Isabella Crank
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or Heartlink Grief Program with Family Hospice.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4-8 P.M., Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois. Jester walk-thru will be held at 7:13 pm.
Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 9:30am on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 for a 10:00am Mass of Christian burial at Saint Nicholas Church, OFallon, IL with Father William Hitpas officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
