Ernestine T. Fechter

 

Ernestine T. Fechter, nee Parhomski, 84, of Belleville, Illinois, born Monday, April 11, 1927, in Saint Louis, MO, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

Mrs. Fechter was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Belleville, IL  and an avid tennis player and golfer.

She was preceded in death by her:

  • Parents: John and Caroline nee Gromacki Parhomski
  • Brother: John Parhomski

  • Sister-in-law: Tess Parhomski of St. Louis, MO

Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois or Donor's Choice

Visitation:  Friends may call from 9:00 am - 10:30 am Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois .

Funeral:  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Matthew Elie officiating  Private family burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.

    I loved Erna so much and have such great memories of her and the family. I am so blessed to have visited her recently and had a wonderful time. My sympathy to Susan & Nancy and the extended family. I will be at the service on Saturday.

    My deepest sympathy to Nancy, Susan, Lucille, and all of Erna's family. I have many fond memories of being with Erna. Although I've been away from Belleville for over 20 years, I remember Erna as a wonderful, fun loving person. I'm blessed to have known her.
